Installed the two devices the day they were delivered. Installation was simple and easy. Took more time to grab a screwdriver and ladder than it took to install one. The instructions were more detailed than I needed, but, were very informative.

An updated building code now requires CO detectors by every bedroom. We needed to add 2 more detectors to meet this requirement. We had replaced an expired existing detector a few months ago with this model and were very happy with it. So, with this new requirement, we used this model again. I look forward to NOT having to change the batteries for 10 years.

These alarms are easy to install. During the testing I realized they are louder than my previous alarms. Fortunately I have not had to have them activate in an emergency situation.

Invested in new detectors for whole house: hard wired smoke, smoke and CO with sealed battery backup, sealed battery smoke and CO. Had to rewire as different plug than older units. Took a few hours almost 20 units, but straightforward. Happy with decision, purchase, and products.
